The real crime here is that the West has aided and abetted this.To anyone with some knowledge of the centuries long history of Serbian resistance to Ottoman domination, it was obvious that the return of any form of Islamic power in Bosnia-Herzegovnia would be rejected by Orthodox Christian Serbs. The five centuries of ‘harmonious and peaceful co-existence’ under Islamic rule, cited by Bosnian president Alija Izetbegovic, belong to the theological dogma of the perfection of the sharia and the dhimma. Before the first shots were fired, Alija Izetbegovic, proudly proclaimed in his “Islamic Declaration” (1974; republished 1990) that “there can be no peace or coexistence between the Islamic faith and non-Islamic societies and political institutions”: “The Islamic movement should and must start taking power as soon as it is morally and numerically strong enough not only to overthrow the existing non-Islamic power structure, but also to build a great Islamic federation spreading from Morocco to Indonesia, from tropical Africa to Central Asia.” For the Orthodox Serbs, however, this same period is considered one of massacre, pillage, slavery, deportation, and exile of the Christian population. In their eyes it was a regime which found its justification in the usurpation of their land and denial of their rights; hence it represented the EXACT OPPOSITE of a peaceful, multicultural coexistence based on a system of social and political justice. Kosovo and Bosnia –Herzegovina are the Orthodox Serbian homeland.............during WWII Axis forces invaded Yugoslavia and sponsored the creation of a Nazi Croat state (Ustashi) with which many Bosnian Muslims cooperated.....they formed military corps including the 13th (Hanjar) Waffen SS Division, some of which were trained in FRANCE. Early in the war, these Muslim slavs actively participated in the genocide of hundreds of thousands of Orthodox Serbs, Jews and gypsies. Even their German allies were shocked by the bestial atrocities committed then in Yugoslavia’. The European Union proposed a cantonization plan for Bosnia Herzegovina, not very different from the present arrangement, which was accepted by leaders of the Bosnian Muslim, Serb and Croat communities. But both these compromise agreements, which would have prevented war, were rejected by the Muslim party leader Alija Izetbegovic, encouraged by the United States. Throughout the subsequent fighting, the U.S. put obstacles in the way of every European peace plan. Without this US interference, there would have been no Srebrenica massacre, which occurred in the last weeks of the three-and-a-half-year war. Bin Laden himself was a known CIA asset stretching from the late 1970's when he was armed and funded by the CIA through the Pakistani ISI to lead the Muslim mujahideen against the Soviets in Afghanistan.After this, Bin Laden led Al-Qaeda to Bosnia shortly after the outbreak of war in 1992 to fight against Bosnian Serbs who were subsequently the target of NATO air strikes.Shortly before the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda moved into Kosovo, Serbia’s southern province, to aid the Kosovo Liberation Army/The report/, the Albanian terrorist faction that was being supported by the U.S. and NATO in its terror campaign against Serbs in the region.And the U.S. still supports an independent Kosovo state, a militant Islamic state, in the heart of Europe/Bin Laden’s Balkan Connections .
